Case Studies & Experience
Drip Hacks
In-house Designer
Drip Hacks marked the beginning of my design journey, where I spent five years developing a wide range of creative and technical skills. During this time, I created high-resolution digital images for both digital and traditional printing applications, applying core design principles in typography, color selection, and layout to produce cohesive and impactful visuals. I also kept a close eye on industry trends, researching and anticipating changes to capitalize on emerging design opportunities.
From concept to completion, I launched new product designs, including brand graphics, print design, and marketing collateral. My work also involved generating engaging marketing and promotional materials aimed at driving revenue growth. In addition to design, I gained valuable experience in customer service, administration, and management. I also developed my photography skills, specializing in product photography, and ensuring high-quality imagery for all projects.
Congleton Town FC
Freelance Designer
For Congleton Town Football Club, I designed matchday graphics, posters, and a new logo for their podcast. Working without a formal brand guideline, I used the team's colors and football kit styles to ensure brand consistency across all designs. I also collaborated closely with the club’s photographer to create cohesive and engaging visuals that aligned with their existing aesthetic
Thermmark ltd
In-house Designer
I currently serve as the lead Graphic Designer at Thermmark, where I oversee a variety of creative and technical responsibilities. My role involves creating, conceptualizing, and designing thermoplastic markings, often reworking client requests and designs to ensure precision and quality. I also use CAD software to prepare designs for cutting on a waterjet.
In addition to design work, I lead and mentor a team, teaching new skills and best practices to improve overall efficiency. I contribute to marketing efforts as well, designing and assisting with collateral such as social media posts, newsletters, and brochures for both digital and print.
Here are a few examples of the work I’ve completed.
Daredevil Coffee
Passion Project
This passion project stems from my deep love for coffee (or obsession, to be honest!) and music. I focused on a clean, retro-inspired design, incorporating a mascot concept with two distinct badge variations—one featuring a spinning record. Drawing inspiration from the American 1950s aesthetic, this project was a fun and creative endeavour that allowed me to explore my favourite styles.
Busy Bubbles
Passion Project
Busy Bubbles approached me for photography and market banners, which inspired me to re-imagine their brand. I opted for a minimalist approach, paired with a soft colour palette, to align with my market research findings. My goal was to create a design that felt contemporary and clean, while ensuring the logo remained distinct, memorable, and impactful.
